Setting Up Your First Pulse Test

WEVO Pulse is designed to help you get directional insight quickly, even on your first run. Follow the steps below to set up a focused, high-quality study in just a few minutes.

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Select your asset Choose a single live URL or a high-quality image that represents the experience you want to evaluate.

  2. Define your goal Write a clear research question and include the context behind the decision you’re trying to inform.
  3. Write the task Describe what the user is trying to accomplish, step by step, using only what’s available in your uploaded asset.
  4. Choose personas Select 2–3 personas that best represent the audience you want Pulse to evaluate the experience for.
  5. Start the analysis Once everything is set, click Start Analysis to launch your Pulse run.

What to Do After Launch

Start by reviewing the Executive Summary for a high-level view of key findings. Then:

  • Explore detailed takeaways by persona
  • Review scores and diagnostics
  • Use the Chat Assistant to clarify insights, compare perspectives, or ask follow-up questions

Pre-Launch Checklist

Before clicking Start Analysis, confirm the following:
