How WEVO Pro Measures Human Response
WEVO Pro measures how people respond to digital experiences by capturing both immediate emotional reaction and reflective explanation. This approach allows teams to understand not only what people think of an experience, but why they respond the way they do.
Rather than relying solely on rational, self-reported answers, WEVO Pro prioritizes emotional response first, then follows with qualitative explanation.
Emotional Response First
Participants begin by responding to the experience using emotional elicitation techniques, such as structured word selection. These inputs capture instinctive, associative reactions before participants rationalize or overthink their responses.
This step is designed to surface how the experience lands emotionally — clarity, trust, interest, or confusion — without leading participants toward specific conclusions.
Qualitative Explanation Second
After emotional response is captured, participants are asked open-ended questions that allow them to explain their reactions in their own words.
These responses provide context and reasoning, helping teams understand what elements of the experience drove positive or negative reactions.
Together, these two stages reflect a dual-process approach to understanding experience: immediate reaction followed by reflection.
What WEVO Pro Scores
Responses are synthesized into an overall experience score and five diagnostics:
- First Impression
- Engaging
- Trusted
- Valuable
- Intuitive
These diagnostics represent well-established indicators of experience quality and provide a structured way to interpret human response across different journeys or stimuli.
