Sample Size, Benchmarks, and Statistical Confidence
WEVO Pro is designed to support confident decision-making through statistically meaningful sample sizes and benchmarking.
Why WEVO Pro Uses N = 120+
A sample size of 120–150 participants provides approximately 95% statistical confidence with low variance. This enables reliable scoring, benchmarking, and comparisons across experiences, allowing WEVO Pro to deliver rigor without unnecessary time or cost.
What Smaller Sample Sizes Are For
WEVO Pro also supports smaller studies for exploratory learning:
N = 50: Directional insights and qualitative learning
N = 10: Highly directional exploration
While these studies are useful for early-stage learning, they should not be interpreted with the same level of confidence as full Pro studies and are not benchmarked.
Using Benchmarks Responsibly
Benchmarks allow teams to understand how an experience performs relative to similar tests. They are most meaningful when paired with statistically sufficient sample sizes and clear study goals.
Choosing the Right Level of Confidence
WEVO Pro gives teams flexibility — from quick directional insight to statistically grounded validation. Selecting the appropriate sample size depends on the risk and impact of the decision being made.
